The food here is amazing! We stumbled upon it whilst looking for some Indian food near where we were staying. The chicken korma was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, it was very tasty. The mango chutney was really great as well. Everything we had was awesome. They are very friendly in here as well!

David GardnerChanced upon this gem of a restaurant and am so glad we did. Everything (including plates, was piping hot. We had murgh mango, Chicken passanda and mixed veg bhaji. Absolutely delicious. The naan bread and rice were fresh and we’ll presented. Lovely little restaurant. NB no alcohol licence.

A very nice addition to the curry restaurants in Leith. The food was nice, they use fresh ingredients and the portions are just right. Will definitely be going back for other dishes.

We happened to find this very nice Indian restaurant, and it met all our expectations. After a charming welcome and great recommendations, our dishes confirmed our very good impression. The plates are neat and hearty, enough to delight the most demanding taste buds! We gladly recommend this restaurant and hope to return for our next stay. Merci pour ce repas !

We were craving some Indian food and this restaurant was really good. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. However what makes the restaurant special is how lovely the manager and waitresses are. We will definitely be coming back again! ☺️

This has overtaken another Edinburgh eatery as my favourite Indian restaurant. We went on the recommendation of a local shop owner, and it did still exceeded expectations! I struggle with spicy foods, which normally makes Indian a tricky cuisine to enjoy. Cilantro’s korma is created with the understanding of low spice levels, and is delicious and enough not-spicy to enjoy without the need to add the also yummy raita. However my partner prefers spicy foods, and his was served to his tastes too – what an amazing find! The separate, special vegetarian options on the menu is a lovely touch, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Service was spot-on too. It is currently BYOB, but there is a Sainsbury’s across the street if needed. 100% would recommend.

Lovingly designed new restaurant with friendly service and very tasty food. I am not one for too hot spiced food but the medium spiced dish I enjoyed was just right for me: spicy but not too spicy. Mind you, no alcoholic drinks are served but you are allowed to BYOB.
